Twisted Mug

Twisted Mug

I really like this mug at first sight. But after a few months of use, I think the handle is a bit of a contradiction to the form of the mug. The twisting texture is at its best when touched and felt by hands, but the function of handle takes over that opportunity. I naturally just hold the handle and rarely have a contact with the mug wall. It’s still beautiful though and I have been using this as a water mug for months.

Greens and Blues

I have been working on several twisted forms lately, some are vases and others mugs. This was the very first one I did a few months back. There are still a few more waiting to be fired. I am quite happy with how the form turned out.
